The 2^nd February of every year has been declared by the Royal Thai Government an Inventor’s Day to commemorate the achievement of His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej in inventing “the Slow Speed Surface Aerator” or “Chaipatana Surface Aerator” which won an award for inventions that bring benefits to the country.

          The Inventors’ Day Exhibition is held every year by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), a governmental agency that promotes supports and recognizes talented researchers and inventors by presenting them with NRCT Invention Awards, aiming at encouraging all talented researchers or inventors to show their inventions that promote social and economic development.

        The 2014 Inventors’ Day Exhibition will be held from February 2 to February 5, 2014 at the IMPACT Forum Conference Hall Center, Nonthaburi, Thailand. The exhibition is an excellent networking opportunity for inventors to disseminate their showcase and search for partners or investors. It also serves as a forum for related organizations, inventors and researchers to present their creative inventions and innovations in various fields, namely: technology for industry; disaster prevention and solution; medicine and health; agriculture and food; education and learning promotion; environment conservation and alternative energy; creation and design,etc.

               สำนักงานคณะกรรมการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) ได้มีกำหนดจัดงาน "วันนักประดิษฐ์" ประจำปี 2557 ภายใต้หัวข้อ "Innovation for Mankind" ในระหว่างวันที่ 23 - 26 มิถุนายน 2557 ณ อาคาร 9 ศูนย์แสดงสินค้าและการประชุมอิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานี จังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อถวายราชสดุดีเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องในวโรกาสที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวพระราชทานสิทธิบัตรฝนหลวงที่ได้รับการจดทะเบียนในสหภาพยุโรป และเขตบริหารพิเศษฮ่องกง ภายใต้ชื่อ

"Weather Modification by Royal Rainmaking Technology"

                ให้เป็นสาธารณะเพื่อประโยชน์ต่อมวลมนุษยชาติโดยรวม และเป็นเวทีให้หน่วยงาน นักประดิษฐ์ นักวิจัย ได้เผยแพร่สิ่งประดิษฐ์และนวัตกรรมที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้ในกลุ่มคนทุก เพศ ทุกวัย ไม่แบ่งแยกเชื้อชาติ ทั้งภาควิชาการ ภาคประชาสังคมและชุมชน และภาคธุรกิจ ตลอดจนเพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายและประสานความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและ เอกชนในการขยายผลและต่อยอดสิ่งประดิษฐ์และนวัตกรรมสู่การผลิตในเชิงพาณิชย์

จึง ขอเชิญชวนหน่วยงาน, นักวิจัยทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนทั่วประเทศนำผลงานประดิษฐ์คิดค้นและนวัตกรรมเข้า ร่วมจัดแสดงนิทรรศการในงาน "วันนักประดิษฐ์ " ประจำปี 2557 ในวันเวลาดังกล่าว
